Established in 1949 in Milan, Raccortubi started to operate as a stockist and distributor of fttings in various types of steel for the big construction companies which had established themselves in Italy at the end of the Second World War. In the middle of the ffties, PierGiorgio Pentericci entered the company and, in a short time, took on ever more important roles in the corporate structure until he acquired ownership.

One can say that Raccortubi, still led by the Pentericci family, has grown in line with the modernisation of the national industrial and energy infrastructure, building an image of reliability highly appreciated, also abroad, by virtue of its ever-increasing stock of piping components of all diameters, thickness range and material grades, as well as its recognised technical and marketing competence.

From the end of the eighties, Raccortubi experienced an extraordinary development with turnover constantly increasing and gained the position of top player in the continental market and captured the trust of the most important customers and operators in the sector.

In 2008, approaching 60 years of the company's business, the new operating site of Marcallo con Casone was inaugurated near Milan.
