In 1988, aiming at greater autonomy regarding suppliers and market swings, Raccortubi set up Tecninox at Sarmato (Piacenza), a company producing butt-weld fttings in stainless steel and special alloys. Tecninox, which at the time of its establishment by the Pentericci family used avant garde technology still at a very early stage in a European context, started a business path of development which paralleled that of Raccortubi.

The strategic integration between the original commercial structure and the industrial production opened the way to the development of synergies allowing the Group greater fexibility for stock optimisation, the differentiation of material requirements to meet specifc demands of a wide range of applications and, fnally, to raise the level of personalisation for the most demanding orders.
